For higher gain,
By cross and nails

As a Messaih should,
Yet, you went where you were sent,
As you knew you would,
Willingly submitting
For a greater good:
Love laid down life for me,
Something only you could.

Oh death,
Where is your victory?
For then, oh Lord,
You rose for me,

Inviting me
To live for evermore!

On this Mother’s Day,
Though to see your face
Would be the best bouquet.
We can’t hug or kiss you
But mothers up in heaven
Are loved more not less,
They know we miss them,

There is a heavenly portal
Mothers can look through:
From glory’s height
To earthly flowers
Just to enjoy the sight.

Without a Mam to share

Amplifies the past
When days were long,
Names were known,
And the sun shone.
Rage builds
Eliminating rationale,
What was known
Falls away,
Disjoined memory
Fails the day.
Temper seethes,
Anger precedes
Breakdown of speech,
Tyranny of disease
Locks me inside,
Should I be fed?
You decide.

Alzheimer’s victim:
Humanity stripped
Bit by bit.

Impossible Love

He who died for us
Dies for us still,
He who was still for us
Is still with us today,
Our life today,
Made possible,
By an act impossible
To explain rationally,
For no rationale,
Explains the greater love
That loves enough to die:

An impossible love,
A love that died
Yet remains alive.
Today and every day,
Pray, because
He loves you still,
He always will.

The Message – Romans 8:35-39
